Following your dreams can be both exhilarating and terrifying. This duality can sometimes be overwhelming. It’s like longing to weightless in the water,  yet fearing it’s depths below. The temptation to return to safe shore can be strong, but there is something irresistibly magnetic about the act of creating. With this painting, I realized that it was not a question of whether or not to go into the water, but rather of learning to dive into the unknown.
